James Pierce is a photographer based in Ireland.

" My first experience of professional photography was as a photographer's assistant, working in a studio in London, setting backgrounds up, metering, making tea, you name it. Things progressed from this initial experience to location shoots for Hello! magazine and Italian Vogue. All of a sudden I was working with some of the top photographer's based in London."

" I have always loved travel and have had the privilege to have travelled to or to have lived in a number of counties, including South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Yemen, England and of course Ireland. The wildlife, landscapes and people I have photographed have always amazed me. Each country or person has their own unique spirit, however, at the same time there are commonalities that are also surprising. This is what keeps me on the look out for the next image. "
